We are delighted that we have been able to send 47 Shoe Boxes full of gifts as part of the Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child. We really enjoyed welcoming everyone on Saturday 16th November to a Christmas coffee morning with stalls like the festive tombola pictured. Large sausage rolls, cheese scones, cake and mince pies went down well with the coffee while the raffle, guess the sweets in the jar and quiz were all popular. The service of remembrance which began at the war memorial was led by Roy Pinnock with members of the Royal British Legion and the Pulloxhill Brownies on parade. Fugitives from the Seventies! The Seventies Sing-a-long Supper on 11th October went with a real swing with characters from the Seventies roaming the hall! Another year – another harvest and as usual young and not so young celebrated it in style at Pulloxhill enjoying a chat and refreshments after the service in the beautifully decorated church.
