CHRISTMAS BAZAAR 18/11/2017

What a lovely afternoon we all enjoyed at the Christmas Bazaar.
There were home made Christmas hampers to buy or a beautiful one to win along with well stocked tombolas, cake, gift and jewellery stalls and lots of games to try your hand at.
The marble game caused some hilarity with a tie break between Brenda and Ian - Ian triumphing and winning the box of sweets.
The wine game foxed most of us but it was worth trying to win the full bottle. The choc or nut and sixes games were also great fun and try balancing a coin on top of a lemon floating in water!
The atmosphere was very convivial and the afternoon finished with the distribution of the excellent selection of raffle prizes and the announcement of the winners of the hamper, sweets in the jar, coins in the jar, Christmas pudding and Christmas cake (the winner kindly auctioning the cake to add to the fun).
A great deal of effort goes into this function and we thank everyone who supported us in whatever capacity. We are delighted with the profit of £850 towards the running costs of the church.
