Christmas Carol Concert 15/12/2017

Dave and Ian make a good pair in the Four Candles sketch!

The Carol Concert was another evening of delightful entertainment and a great antidote to the usual fare available on TV.

The wonderful Pulloxhill Singers, led by Hilary Parks, presented a variety of music with beautiful solos from Joyce Rackley and Louise Holland all expertly accompanied by John Hemmings.  The programme was interspersed with amusing readings and sketches (see the 'Two Ronnies' in the picture) and hilarious audience participation in a potted pantomime and the twelve days of Christmas, led by Linda Brown.

John Parks linked all the items with witty stories and the audience joined in some popular carols. Mulled wine and home made mince pies were served during the interval when the raffle was drawn.  Altogether an evening of fun and the spirit of Christmas.

Our thanks to Hilary and the Pulloxhill Singers and all the friends who helped to make the evening a success.  The proceeds from the concert will help towards the running costs of the church ~ what a pleasurable way to raise money!
