Sunday 6th September was a landmark day for our lovely church when we were able to open for a slightly smaller congregation to enjoy Morning Prayer. All the Covid safety measures worked well and it felt good to worship together again in a sparkling clean church with Roy leading the service.
On 13th September we celebrated Holy Communion with Anne guiding us through the service, which was extremely well organised, allowing us to take part by using individual wafers that had been sealed in pots well in advance of the service for our safety. A novel but very satisfying way to continue this important part of church life.
It is so lovely to see old friends in church even if we have to observe social distancing and mask wearing rules. We thank everyone involved in making this possible.
