Harvest is always a joyful time of year especially in the countryside when gathering the crops is evident.
We celebrated on October 3rd with a lovely harvest service. Linda's imaginative decorations and pretty scarecrow figures brightened the church windowsills.
There was a generous collection for the food bank who were delighted with the contribution.
The collection for the Bishop of St Albans' Harvest Appeal was equally generous and raised £86 towards the 'Water is Life' campaign.
We all enjoyed chatting after the service over coffee and biscuits. Well done to our church community.
