The service of remembrance which began at the war memorial was led by Roy Pinnock with members of the Royal British Legion and the Pulloxhill Brownies on parade. Chris Witherington sounded the last post on the bugle followed by the reveille (or rouse) after the two minute silence. The service continued in the church which was decorated magnificently with a sea of poppies. A fitting tribute to all those who lost their lives or have suffered through war. A collection raised over £230 which will be split between the Royal British Legion and Help for Heroes charities.
