TIME TREASURE TALENT
Regular Donations:
If you would like to make a regular donation to Church funds please contact our Treasurer, Liz Shortland on 079 2208 9124 for further details. Liz will be pleased to send you a standing order form and/or a gift aid declaration form.
OR donations of any small amount are always welcome and can be given to any member of the PCC – “every little helps”.
Smartie Fund Raising
Do you like Smarties? Help us raise funds by eating them and then filling the empty tube with 20p coins. A full Smartie tube can contain between £12 and £13 in 20p pieces – and if you donate the full tube along with Gift Aid declaration, it could be worth up to £16.25 to the Church. Free tubes available from the church – just ask a PCC member.
Practical Help
Are you an ‘outdoors’ person? Would you like to help maintain your local parish churchyard?
There is a rota of helpers for this task and about once a month the whole group gather for a group tidy up session which I hear has the benefit of bacon sandwiches served during the morning!
If you would like to join this friendly group please contact Duncan Robb on 07957 488456
Do you like cleaning?
There is of course a team who keep the inside of the church clean and polished and we are often complimented on the high standard maintained. The duties are ‘light’ and we are happy to accept any help you can offer, either on an occasional basis or to join the rota.
For more information please contact Liz Shortland on 079 2208 9124
Is flower arranging your thing?
Another group form the team for flower arranging and brass cleaning and the rota is organised by Linda Brown. To get involved please contact Linda on 01525 714256 or any member of the PCC (see church contacts page).
Ancillary Helpers
There are lots of other ways in which you can help to keep your parish church ‘open for business’ and to preserve it for future generations. Our fund raising activities run throughout the year and these provide the money to pay the monthly bills associated with keeping the church operational. They are always good fun and an extra pair of hands is always welcome. Just contact one of our PCC members for more information.
