Another brave soft toy being lowered from the tower by Brian and George on Sunday 22nd July after the family service which celebrated teddy bears and other much loved albeit silent family members.
Gillian led the service in which the children (and some adults) introduced their soft toys and everyone agreed that although they were all different they all shared the same quality of being loved by us and also giving us comfort in times of stress. An important message that reminded us of God's place in our lives.
The informal service was followed by refreshments which we enjoyed in the sunshine while watching the daring escapades of the toys.
