UPDATE ON COVID RISK ASSESSMENTS FROM 26 SEPTEMBER 2021

The PCC reviewed our risk assessment and have agreed to move forward in line with Government and Church of England advice as follows with effect from 26th September 2021.

Everyone was thanked for helping to maintain social distancing at services and we encourage this to continue. Service packs will still be used and put out ready for you.

When we have less than 28 people downstairs, and no more than 8 in the gallery, we will start singing again which is good news. For busier services the person leading will tell us if singing cannot take place to keep people safe. If possible busy services may be outside.

Thanks to all for wearing face masks. We would ask that you still wear one when moving about inside the church, but you are welcome to take it off when seated.

Teas and coffees have worked well outside, and this will continue whilst weather allows. If we need to serve inside, then we would ask everyone to maintain social distancing.

The service of Communion will continue as it has been for the time being. The person serving will have been requested to take a Lateral Flow test.

We would encourage everyone to use the hand sanitiser when entering and leaving the building.

The Service Leader may make changes if they see this is needed on the day.

Cleaning will continue in line with our risk assessments.

The PCC will review the situation as we move forwards.

Thank you to everyone for helping to keep us all as safe as is possible in our church building.
