We are so lucky in Pulloxhill to have some great volunteers who turn up cheerfully when requested to carry out tasks to help maintain the church. After the period of Lent when the church is bare of flowers it is so lovely to see the church on Easter Day decorated with beautiful displays of lilies. The Easter morning Communion was celebrated in the churchyard with the brazier warming up the congregation who were able to appreciate the views across the hills. … Read more
Good Friday Walk of Witness The Good Friday Service started from the village green and continued with the impressive cross being carried through the village to the church. Another successful coffee morning on Saturday 24th March! Lots of visitors, Easter eggs for the children, plenty of inviting food, cake stall, tombola, raffle, children’s Easter raffle, books, quiz – something for everyone. Thanks to all the hardworking group who helped in a variety of ways – another great team effort.
