Keeping in the shade Simon and Louise hosted a lovely tea party in the vicarage garden on 24th July – pictured with a group of Pulloxhill friends enjoying the tea, cake and sunny weather. Earlier they visited Pulloxhill church for the Social Sunday gathering which was held outside in the shade.
The weather was warm but we still welcomed a good number of visitors to our coffee morning on 16th July. Bacon baps and cake were consumed, raffle and lucky dip prizes were won, the quiz was pondered over. The weekend celebrating the Platinum Jubilee of HM Queen Elizabeth II was a true Pulloxhill community event with large numbers attending the various celebrations. We welcomed Easter Day with a Communion service, led by Rev Roger Wood and Reader Gillian Kern, held in the churchyard on a glorious sunny morning. The sun was shining outside and the church hall looked very sunny inside too with a beautifully presented display of lucky dip Tombola prizes. We held another successful coffee morning on Saturday 12th February – with a Valentine’s Day theme. Hearts decorated the hall alongside some very pretty flower arrangements.
