As part of the late Queen’s Green Canopy initiative the PCC have planted two new trees in the churchyard, one for the late Queen and one for our new King, Charles. The pictures are of Louise blessing the trees with the help of Léonie and Rod who poured blessed water on to the roots. We

The Pulloxhill Singers gave us a night to remember at the Coronation Concert on 5th May. There was a wonderful atmosphere in the church, great performances, humour and absolute joy. A great start to the Coronation Celebrations. Thank you to everyone who made the evening such a success.

The Easter Coffee morning was a wonderful gathering of friends and supporters.  Lots of laughs with the usual great food, raffle, quiz and the lucky dip  which is pictured.

As usual the church was decorated beautifully and the act of remembrance outside was very well attended, with representatives from the Royal British Legion. A traditional service followed and the collection of £145 was split between the Royal British Legion and Help for Heroes charities.

We are delighted to once again take part in the Samaritan’s Purse Christmas Shoe Box Appeal. The boxes were blessed by Simon at our service on 6th November. This year we understand that three quarters of the shoeboxes, packed with gifts for children, will be sent to Ukraine and we hope it brings some cheer

We held another successful coffee morning on Saturday 12th February – with a Valentine’s Day theme.  Hearts decorated the hall alongside some very pretty flower arrangements.  Lots of bacon or sausage baps were consumed plus cake and coffee while the quiz was being pondered. Harvest is always a joyful time of year especially in the countryside when gathering the crops is evident. We celebrated on October 3rd with a lovely harvest service.  Linda’s imaginative decorations and pretty scarecrow figures brightened the church windowsills. The Harvest Festival service on 27th September was a joyous occasion and very well attended. We really enjoyed welcoming everyone on Saturday 16th November to a Christmas coffee morning with stalls like the festive tombola pictured. Large sausage rolls, cheese scones, cake and mince pies went down well with the coffee while the raffle, guess the sweets in the jar and quiz were all popular.  The morning was very successful

Pulloxhill trees came to life with imaginative and amusing decorations for the Tree Festival organised by the Friends of the Church.
